‘Duck Dynasty’ Star Kay Robertson Recovering After Family Dog Bit Her in the Mouth
Kay Robertson, beloved star of Duck Dynasty, is on the mend following a painful incident in which the family dog, Bobo, bit her on the mouth while she tried to kiss him goodnight. The Incident
The incident occurred when Kay, 73, leaned in to give Bobo a goodnight kiss while he was sleeping on the couch. However, the sudden movement startled Bobo, causing him to lunge at her in defense. Kay’s husband, Phil Robertson, and their son, Jase, detailed the events on a recent episode of their Unashamed podcast.
Phil, who was asleep at the time, was woken up by Kay holding a rag to her mouth. Upon inspecting the injury, Phil found that Kay’s top lip was split open by about a quarter of an inch, and her bottom lip had a chunk missing. The injury caused significant bleeding, which Phil described as “profuse.”

The Trip to the Doctor
Phil immediately took Kay to the doctor for treatment. Jase shared that he knew the situation was serious when he received a text from his father. “If my dad drove my mom to the hospital, this is bad,” Jase said, noting that Phil rarely visits the doctor unless absolutely necessary.

Despite the traumatic experience, Kay is doing better, although she remains sore from the stitches she received.
