George Strait is stepping up to help those affected by the devastating floods in Texas’ Hill Country. The country music icon, alongside his long-time partner Tom Cusick from Vaqueros del Mar, has announced plans for a special benefit concert and dinner titled “Strait To The Heart” on July 27.

This charity event will be held at the Estancia at Thunder Valley indoor arena in Boerne, Texas, and aims to raise critical funds for the flood victims.The event’s proceeds will directly support the families impacted by the floods through the Vaqueros del Mar Texas Flood Relief Fund, as well as established local relief organizations in the Hill Country.

The goal with this event is to raise meaningful, immediate support that can be put directly into the hands of flood victims without delay, while also honoring the first responders that work tirelessly to save lives.”

These artists are coming together to help the Texas community rebuild, sending a strong message of unity and resilience.

Tom Cusick highlighted the importance of timely action, emphasizing that while the recovery process will be long, immediate support is crucial. “The road ahead will be a long one, however the immediate need is so great that we didn’t want to wait,” Cusick said.
