It is with deep sadness that I share the passing of my beloved father, Tom Duff, who left us peacefully at home last night.
Just recently, we had the joy of celebrating his 91st birthday—a milestone that reflected the incredible life he lived. He was, and always will be, a truly great man: full of wisdom, warmth, and a quiet strength that inspired everyone who knew him.
Dad lived life to the fullest. His presence lit up every room, and his unwavering spirit left an imprint on all of us. He faced life with grace and resilience, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
Though he is no longer with us in body, I feel my father’s presence everywhere—in the music he loved, the lessons he passed on, and the quiet strength he showed every day.
He taught us how to live with purpose, to treat others with kindness, and to meet life’s challenges with dignity and grace. He didn’t need to speak loudly to be heard—his actions, his integrity, and his unwavering devotion to family said it all.
Dad was the kind of man who made people feel seen, heard, and valued. He had time for everyone. He believed in hard work, but he also knew how to laugh, how to sing, and how to find joy in the simplest things—a walk, a tune, a well-told story.
As we grieve his passing, we also celebrate his remarkable life.
A life filled with meaning.
A life built on love.

The world feels different without him, yet better because he was here.
His absence leaves a space no one else can fill.
