Willie Robertson, star of Duck Dynasty, had an unexpected run-in with the law during the Sunday, June 22, episode of Duck Dynasty: The Revival. The incident occurred when Willie accompanied his son-in-law, Jacob Mayo, on a thrift shopping trip. Mayo, who was trying to source clothing for his online store, only wanted to focus on specific items. However, Willie got a little carried away, purchasing everything he liked and filling up a truck and trailer with his finds.
Mayo, who had hoped to earn some “brownie points” with his wife by including Willie, was a bit frustrated. “I don’t think he really understood the mission,” Mayo said, as Willie’s shopping spree escalated. Confident in his ability to flip the items for a profit, Willie set up a pop-up shop on the street. However, things took a turn when a police officer approached him, questioning if he had the required street vendor license, as stipulated by Louisiana law.
Willie admitted he didn’t have a license, but attempted to smooth things over by offering the officer a few free items in exchange for allowing him to continue his sale. The officer, apparently not amused, warned Willie that he could face jail time and a $500 fine if he didn’t pack up his goods and shut down the pop-up shop. Robertson complied and quickly packed up, avoiding further trouble.
Despite the hiccup with the law, Willie later gifted some of his thrifted treasures to family members. The episode also featured an emotional family moment when his daughter, Sadie Robertson, announced that she and her husband, Christian Huff, were expecting their third child. Sadie’s pregnancy news came amid a heartfelt conversation between Sadie and her sister, Bella Robertson, about Bella’s struggles with infertility.
In a preview of their conversation shared on Instagram, Bella opened up about the emotional challenges of dealing with infertility while watching others become pregnant. “The loneliness of when someone else gets pregnant — it’s like, that’s one more person, you know?” Bella said tearfully.
Sadie shared her admiration for Bella’s strength in navigating the pain, writing, “I’ve never been more proud of my sister. Watching her walk through something so painful with so much faith, honesty, and strength is nothing short of powerful.”
