Last night at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, country icon Alan Jackson received the very first Alan Jackson Lifetime Achievement Award, celebrating over three decades of heartfelt storytelling and timeless hits.
Even while battling CharcotβMarieβTooth disease on his farewell tour βLast Call: One More for the Road,β Alan delivered a deeply moving performance of βRemember Whenβ, reminding fans why his music feels like home. In his acceptance speech, he thanked his loyal fans, his devoted familyβand especially his wife Denise, whoβs been his rock through every high and low.
βI came to Nashville with a paper sack and a crazy dreamβ¦ and all these years later, Iβm standing hereβmind-blowing,β he said, eyes brimming with gratitude.
